The Bulldogs posted their fourth straight victory Friday evening, taking down crosstown foe IUPUI, 4-2. With the win, Butler moves to 7-6. IUPUI falls to 2-7. 

The doubles point belonged to the Jaguars as they took wins at the No. 1 and 3 courts. Strong singles play for the Bulldogs led the team to victory as Butler posted wins at the No. 1, 3, 4, and 6 spot.

Sara Linn posted the first victory for the Bulldogs in the No. 3 spot, taking down Sarah Lounsbury in straight sets, 6-2, 6-0. Emily Neal was victorious in the No. 1 spot, defeating Gabrielle Ochalik 6-1, 6-4.

Nina Bertino followed it up in the No. 4 spot with another straight set victory, 6-4, 6-2. Lauren Marx clinched the match in the No. 6 position with a win over Meghan Bernard, 6-4, 6-2.

The Bulldogs have a quick turnaround, returning to the court at 9 a.m. to take on DePauw. Butler finishes the Saturday doubleheader with Akron at 1 p.m. Both games will be played at the Butler Bubble.
