ROME – The Butler women's basketball team spent the first three days of their Italian Summer Tour in Rome. While visiting one of the oldest cities in the world, BU toured the Colosseum, visited the Vatican City and played a game against the Dutch National Team.
Newcomer
N'Dea Flye led Butler in their first game vs. the Dutch National Team with nine points and four rebounds. Head Coach
Kurt Godlevske used the entire roster in the setback.
Freshman
Tenley Dowell scored six points and pulled down three boards for the 'Dawgs in her first action. Newcomer
Upe Atosu also ended the game with six points.
Day one was highlighted by the Colosseum tour, day two featured an early start time vs. the Dutch National team followed by the tour of the Vatican City and day three the Bulldogs visited the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain.
