INDIANAPOLIS – The Butler baseball team will play at Grand Park this weekend to signal the start of the fall season. BU will host Illinois on Saturday, Sept. 14 at 5 PM. Three-straight intra-squad games will follow at Bulldog Park from Sept. 20-22.
 
The second opponent to appear on the 2019 fall schedule is the Ball State Cardinals. Butler will play at BSU on Sept. 28. The next day the team will once again come together for an intra-squad game.
 
In October, Butler will play a five-game series as part of their annual Fall World Series. The first two games are slated for Oct. 5-6. Game three will be played on Oct. 11 and if necessary, games four and five will be played Oct. 12-13.
