INDIANAPOLIS – BIG EAST play will begin on Wednesday with Butler traveling to Milwaukee to face #10 Marquette. An early start time will feature BU taking the court at the Al McGuire Center at 12:30 PM.

- Butler leads the BIG EAST in blocks per set (2.14) and total blocks (105).

Melody Davidson leads the team and ranks fifth in the conference in blocks per set (1.10).
- Davidson set a new season-high total with eight blocks vs. LMU.

- BU leads the conference in digs per set (16.37) and total digs (802).

Elizabeth LaBue leads the team and ranks fourth in the BIG EAST in digs per set (4.76).
- LaBue has 10+ digs in 11 of 12 matches in 2019.

Brooke Gregory has reached 10+ kills in four-straight matches.
- Gregory hit .500 vs. Belmont with 15 kills on 24 attempts.
- Logan, Gregory, Davidson, Ramseyer and LaBue have played in all 49 sets this year.
- Logan recorded a season-high three service aces in the win over Belmont.

Shay Horn hit over .300 in two of Butler's three matches over the weekend.
- Butler also ended the 2018 non-conference portion of the schedule with a 3-9 record.

Anna Logan moved to ninth all-time on the BU career kills list over the weekend (1,331). She needs 11 more to move into eighth place.
SCOUTING #10 MARQUETTE: Head Coach Ryan Thesis helped Marquette post a 10-2 record during the non-conference slate. 2019 Preseason BIG EAST Player of the Year Allie Barber has delivered during her senior campaign with a team-best 218 kills. The outside hitter averages 4.74 kills per set, the best average in the BIG EAST. Lauren Speckman and Sarah Rose will split time at the setter position. The defense is led by Martha Konovodoff and Elizabeth Orf. Konovodoff has 215 digs this season and Orf is the team leader in blocks with 33.
Marquette leads the BIG EAST in assists (14.41) and kills (14.98).
DOUBLE-DOUBLE TRACKER: Megan Ramseyer recorded a double-double in two of the three matches over the weekend. Ramseyer and
Anna Logan each posted a double-double in the first match of the Bulldog Brawl vs. Pacific. Ramseyer had 43 assists and 10 digs. Logan ended the five-set battle with 11 kills and 18 digs. Ramseyer's second double-double performance came in the match vs. Belmont on Saturday. She once again would come up with 10 digs while adding 39 assists.
Megan Ramseyer leads the team with seven double-doubles. Logan ranks second with six.
NCAA RANKINGS: Butler leads the BIG EAST and ranks 21st in the NCAA in team attacks per set (37.53). They are also first in the league and 35th in the country in digs per set (16.37).
Elizabeth LaBue ranks 29th in the NCAA in total digs (233), Megan Ramseyer ranks 34th in total assists (455), and Anna Logan ranks 38th in total attacks (508).
BIG EAST OPENER: Butler is 2-4 in BIG EAST Conference openers since joining the league in 2013. The Bulldogs won 3-0 at Seton Hall last year. They also came out on top in 2015 at DePaul (3-2).
Butler and Marquette faced off in the conference opener back in 2017. The Golden Eagles won the match 3-0.
BRITTANY WITH THE BLOCK: Redshirt-freshman
Brittany Robinson recorded a season-high six blocks in the setback vs. LMU.
Robinson recorded 10 of her 15 blocks this season at the Bulldog Brawl.
SO CLOSE: Butler played in four five-set matches during the first four weeks of the regular season. They lost all four of those matches.
BU fell in five sets to Auburn, Cleveland State, Western Michigan, and most recently Pacific.
PERFECT VS. OVC: All three wins in 2019 have been recorded against members of the Ohio Valley Conference.
Butler swept Tennessee State and Belmont. They collected a 3-1 win vs. SEMO.
RAMSEYER WITH THE SET: Megan Ramseyer has recorded 30+ assists in every match this season outside of the season opener against New Mexico State. Her top performance came in the five-set match vs. Auburn with 62 assists.
62 assists is the highest total recorded by any player in the BIG EAST this season.
ACE BULLDOGS: Elizabeth LaBue and
Anna Logan are tied for the team lead with 11 service aces each. LaBue has nine aces over Butler's last six games. Logan posted four during the Bulldog Brawl.
Anna Logan has 90 aces in her BU career.
