Kristen Spolyar as the Butler guard scored seven points in the opening frame.

Butler called a timeout to stop the momentum and would own a 37-32 lead heading into the fourth.
Barnes stayed hot in the fourth quarter which led to Georgetown taking a one-point lead with 5:24 to play in the fourth. Spolyar would answer for BU with a 3-pointer from the top of the key on the very next possession, giving BU a 46-44 edge.
Tatiana Thompson's first field goal of the game for Georgetown would knot the score at 46-46 with 2:29 left in regulation. Spolyar would break the tie by splitting a pair of free throws.
