LAST TIME OUT: No. 18 Seton Hall made a series of key plays down the stretch to post a 78-70, come-from-behind win over fifth-ranked Butler Wednesday night at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Myles Powell led the Pirates with 29 points. With the win, Seton Hall remains perfect in BIG EAST play at 5-0.

A Powell jumper with 8:16 remaining in the contest gave the Pirates a 58-57 advantage, its first lead in exactly 20 minutes. Seton Hall closed the game by scoring 12 of the final 15 points.

The key play down the stretch was a Jared Rhoden three-pointer with 42 seconds remaining as he got loose on an in-bounds play with just two seconds on the shot clock. That stretched the Seton Hall lead to 73-68.

Butler shot only 30 percent in the second half (including 1-of-11 from three-point range) to finish at 42 percent for the game.

LOCKING DOWN: Butler utilized its trademark suffocating defense to post a 70-58 road win at Providence Jan. 10. The Bulldogs forced misses on the Friars' first 13 attempts from the field and held Providence to 32-percent shooting. Butler never trailed in the game.

Kamar Baldwin and Jordan Tucker led the Bulldogs with 17 points apiece. Butler had a 44-26 rebounding advantage. The Bulldogs only missed 20 shots (shooting 56 percent - 25-45), and grabbed offensive rebounds on 10 of those misses.

Kamar Baldwin went 8-of-11 from the field and posted the first double-double of his career with 17 points and 14 rebounds. Jordan Tucker and Sean McDermott combined for nine three-pointers. Butler shot 58 percent in the contest.
