The women's tennis team fell 1-6 to the University of Indianapolis on Friday, Jan. 31 at the Butler Bubble.
 
The Bulldogs (4-3) battled in doubles, but ultimately lost by a small margin. The Greyhounds took the first doubles match in the No. 3 flight, as the team of Emily Neal/Kendal Wilby fell 3-6.
 
Butler bounced back with a No. 2 victory from Sara Linn/Logan White (6-4). The top-flight team of Lauryn Padgett/Sarah Monesmith narrowly fell in a 6-7 decision to give Indianapolis the first point of the match.
 
In singles, the Greyhounds sweep four of six matches. Linn recorded the only Bulldogs win in the No. 5 flight (6-7, 6-2, 10-4). Hallie Leblebijian also went the distance in the No. 6 singles, but could not close out the final set.
 
The Bulldogs take the court tomorrow against Western Michigan, with the match time set for 1 p.m. at the Butler Bubble.
