The second and final day of the Meyo Invitational in South Bend, Ind. saw several Bulldogs run personal best times and move up the all-time school leaderboards.

The two-day meet which began on Friday saw a total of eighteen personal bests set and twelve performances that moved into the top ten all-time in school history.

In his first race of the season,
Euan Makepeace set a new personal best and finished fifth overall in the Meyo mile with an impressive time of 4:05.58. This time is also the tenth fastest indoor mile in Butler history.

In the other men's mile,
Matthew Wigelsworth finished 6th overall by crossing the line in 4:06.65.

Camille Hines continued the trend of strong mile finishes for the Bulldogs, as she finished second overall in the women's mile with a personal best time of 4:49.99. This time moves Hines to seventh all-time in school history for the event.

Chandler McGaha and
Trey Harris each ran personal best times in the men's 800-meters. McGaha's time of 1:53.01 was twelfth overall, and Harris finished sixteenth with a time of 1:53.41. These finishes are in addition to the personal best 600-meter finishes they had on Friday.

Another pair of Bulldogs set personal best times later in the day on Saturday, as
Angelina Ellis and
Mia Beckham had strong performances in the women's championship 3,000-meters. Ellis finished ninth overall, and Beckham was twelfth with times of 9:42.82 and 9:45.53 respectively.

In the men's 3,000-meters,
Clark Otte finished fifth overall with a personal best time of 8:19.38.

After setting the school record in the women's 200-meters the day before,
Lily Hess returned to the track with a personal best indoor time of 57.29 in the 400-meters. This time is fourth best in school history.

Morgan Walsh finished nineteenth in the women's 800-meters with the eighth-best time in Butler history at 2:14.52.

Jacob Uhl (48.60) finished eighth overall in the competitive men's 400-meter.

Sam Robinson had a top ten finish in the men's long jump, as he placed tenth with a mark of 7.08m. This mark is an indoor best for Robinson and is the third-best indoor mark in school history.

The women's 4x400 relay team of
Madeline Miller,
Madison Provo,
Karmen Koch, and Hess, wrapped up the weekend for Butler. Their finish of 3:55.48 is the second-fastest time in school history.

Next weekend, Butler will have athletes compete at both the Iowa State Classic in Ames Iowa, and the Music City Challenge on the Vanderbilt campus from Feb. 14-15.
