Blake Sarjent will make his Butler debut on Tuesday afternoon against the Cougars. Sarjent is a 6-1 freshman from Lafayette, Ind. that attended McCutcheon High School.
Scouting Saint Francis
The Cougars are a NAIA program from Fort Wayne, Ind. They are off to a 7-7 start to their season and will play Butler Tuesday, before the start of Crossroads Conference action this weekend. Jack Harris is the player to keep an eye on for Saint Francis. Over 11 starts, Harris is batting .400 with three doubles, two triples and two home runs for eight RBI. The team leader in RBI's is Brady Harris with nine.
Last Meeting
Butler and Saint Francis played a seven-inning game during the 2018 season. Butler won the by the final score of 11-1.
Last Weekend
Butler moved to 6-3 on the year after taking three losses at Evansville last weekend.
