The Butler women's soccer team will play its final regular season match when Creighton comes to town for a match on Thursday, October 28, at 7 pm. The Bulldogs are coming off a 3-0 win at Villanova, while the Bluejays most recently suffered an 0-3 loss to St. John's.

  • Abigail Isger is 20th nationally with four game-winning goals and is tied for the BIG EAST lead.
  • Katie Soderstrom is second in the BIG EAST and 31st nationally with ten goals. Soderstrom is second in the BIG EAST and 27th nationally with 26 points.
  • Alli Leonard, with seven assists, is third in the BIG EAST and 50th nationally. Soderstrom and Isger (each with six) are seventh in the BIG EAST.

Martin has now moved into a tie for the third position on Butler Women's Soccer's all-time list for shutouts.
     
  • Bulldogs midfielder Alli Leonard was selected to the BIG EAST Women's Soccer Honor Roll for her performances last week against No. 17 Xavier and Villanova. She scored Butler's only goal against the Musketeers and then notched the game-winning goal against Villanova.
     
  • Butler has clinched a BIG EAST Championship First Round home match which will be played on Oct. 31. The Bulldogs are guaranteed to be either the No. 3 or 4 seed. The No. 3 seed hosts the No. 6 seed and the No. 4 seed hosts the No. 5 seed, with the winners advancing to the semifinals in Cincinnati.
     
  • The Bulldogs have scored 35 goals in 17 matches this season (2.06 goals/match) while giving up 14 goals (0.824 goals allowed/match).
