The Butler men's soccer team returns to play after a 9-day layoff, traveling to take on No. 1 Georgetown on Saturday, October 9, at 1 pm. The Bulldogs are coming off an 0-2 loss to No. 5 Marshall, while the Hoyas most recently defeated Seton Hall, 4-2.
 
No. 1 Georgetown is the second opponent the Bulldogs have played this season that was ranked No. 1 at the time of the match. Indiana was ranked No. 1 at the time of this season's August 31 match. Butler's 2021 schedule has included defending (2020-21) National Champion, Marshall, as well as National Runner-up, Indiana.
