Head coach Sharon Clark has announced the signing of setter Cora Taylor for the 2022 recruiting class.

"Cora is a championship caliber setter because of her extremely high volleyball IQ, the ability to make any set from anywhere on the court, and her formidable presence at the net," said Clark. "We cannot wait to get Cora on campus and see her in action."

Taylor hails from Lawrenceburg, Ind., and attends St. Henry District High School in Erlanger, Ky. As the starting setter, she helped lead the school to its first state championship in 40 years on Nov. 6 to cap off her senior season. For her strong play in the tournament, Taylor was named to the KHSAA All-State Tournament Team.

Additionally, Taylor earned recognition as a Third Team AVCA All-American for her senior season. She is a four-year varsity letter winner and honor roll student as well.

"It was home as soon as I stepped on campus," Taylor said on why she chose Butler. "The coaches, campus, and the volleyball program were a perfect fit for me!"
