2021 AVCA Division I All-Region Awards

Melody Davidson and Jaymeson Kinley earned honorable mention recognition on the AVCA East All-Region Team, the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced Tuesday.

Davidson and Kinley previously were unanimous selections to the All-BIG EAST Team, while Kinley was named the conference's Libero of the Year following setting Butler programs records in digs (610) and digs/set (5.40) this season. Davidson's honor marked her third appearance on the All-BIG EAST Team, earning the recognition after a career year in which she set career-bests in kills (369, fifth in BIG EAST), 452 points (fourth) and hitting percentage (.331, third).

The awards are Butler's first since MB Bri Lilly earned honorable mention AVCA East All-Region recognition in 2018.
