Lauryn Padgett got it started for the Bulldogs as they won their doubles set 6-3. The Cougars picked up the second doubles flight, winning 6-4. Then,
Natalie Boesing and
Sarah Monesmith sealed the doubles point for Butler, winning the first flight 6-3.

Boesing gave Butler a 2-0 lead as she started the singles matches off with a straight set victory in the first flight.
Delaney Schurhamer kept it going as she won the third flight in straight sets as well.
Veronika Bruetting clinched the match by winning the fifth flight, also in straight sets.

SIUE picked up three-set singles wins in the second and fourth flights, to make the final score 4-2.
