Chuck Harris came off the bench to lead Butler with 16 points, including a 4-of-5 performance from three-point range.
• Butler committed nine turnovers at Marquette, its seventh game this season with single-digit turnovers.
• Averaging only 10.9 turnovers per game, Butler is 27th nationally.
• After erasing almost all of an 18-point deficit over the last 12 minutes of the game, Butler missed a tying three-point attempt in the closing seconds at Marquette.
• Nze ranks second in the BIG EAST at 8.2 rebounds per game.
• Nze has pulled down a total of 63 rebounds over his last six games (including 14 twice).
• Seven different Bulldogs have led the team in scoring this season.
Jair Bolden is tied for the BIG EAST lead at 2.9 three-pointers per game.
• Bolden posted a season-high and his second 20-point game of the season with 21 points at DePaul Jan. 19.
• Bolden is also approaching 1,000 career points, sitting at 970 currently.
• No. 8 Creighton is the highest-ranked opponent Butler has beaten since a 101-93 win over No. 1 Villanova, Dec. 30, 2017.
• Butler limited DePaul to 17 first-half points in the Jan. 19 win.
Myles Tate posted his first career double-double (15p/10r) vs. Creighton Jan. 16.
• With 423 assists, Aaron Thompson is now sixth on Butler's career list.
• Four different Bulldogs have posted 20-point games for Butler so far this season.
• Only three Bulldogs have appeared in all 15 games this season.
• Four of Butler's top eight players in minutes played this season are true freshmen.

The Bulldogs look to end a three-game skid when they welcome DePaul to Hinkle Fieldhouse Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs won the first match-up between the two teams Jan. 19 in Chicago. This match-up in Indianapolis was originally scheduled for Dec. 21 before being postponed due to COVID protocols.

THE SERIES: Butler owns a 14-7 advantage in the all-time series between the two teams, including the 67-53 win in Chicago Jan. 19. The Bulldogs have won 13 of the last 14 meetings between the two teams and Butler is 13-2 since joining the BIG EAST prior to the 2013-14 season.

Butler Leads, 14-7
Streak: Butler, W2
At Hinkle Fieldhouse: Butler Leads, 6-3
LaVall Jordan (at BU) vs. DePaul: 6-1
First Meeting: Butler, 39-29; 1939 (at DePaul)
Last Meeting: Butler, 67-53; 1/19/21 (at DePaul)

FIRST TIME AROUND: Butler limited the Blue Demons to 17 first-half points and 7-of-28 shooting (25 percent) in the first half of the Jan. 19 win. Butler held DePaul to 33-percent shooting overall, the lowest mark for a Butler opponent so far this season. Butler limited DePaul's top three leading scorers, Charlie Moore, Javon Freeman-Liberty and Romeo Weems, to only 15 points on 5-of-26 shooting. The trio entered the match-up averaging 38.4 points per game.

MORE FROM CHICAGO: Butler shot 50 percent from the field in the first meeting with DePaul, its best percentage of the season. The Bulldogs' 10 made three-pointers were the second-best mark of the season. Jair Bolden led the team with a season-high 21 points, while Bryce Nze pulled down a season-best 14 rebounds. Butler was able to overcome a season-worst 18 turnovers to take its only road win so far this season.

INSTANT IMPACT: Bo Hodges had an appeal of a waiver for immediate eligibility approved by the NCAA prior to the Bulldogs' Jan. 30 game with Xavier. In just his second game (and his first start) for Butler, Hodges set career-highs with 12 rebounds and eight assists to go along with 15 points, narrowly missing a triple-double Tuesday at Marquette.

'BOARD' OUT OF HIS MIND: Redshirt senior Bryce Nze has climbed to second in the BIG EAST in rebounding at 8.2 caroms per game. He has pulled down 63 total rebounds over his last five games. Nze pulled down 14 rebounds Jan. 19 at DePaul, his second time in three outings hitting that mark (also at St. John's Jan. 12). It is his highest total in a Butler uniform (although he had 17 in a game while playing at Milwaukee).

HANDLE WITH CARE: Butler is second in the BIG EAST and 27th nationally, averaging only 10.9 turnovers per game. Butler had only six turnovers against Xavier Saturday, the team's sixth single-digit turnover output of the season through 14 games. The six turnovers matched the team's season-low. The Bulldogs turned the ball over only seven times in 45 minutes of play in the Jan. 16 win over Creighton.

Butler has committed 10 or fewer turnovers in 54 of the 114 games that LaVall Jordan has been head coach at Butler.
