Butler bounced back after yesterday's match to take a 5-2 victory on the road at Valparaiso. This win moves the Bulldogs back to .500 at 4-4 on the season.

In doubles, the team of
Veronika Bruetting and
Lauryn Padgett got it started by winning the third flight 6-0, they are now 4-3 this season. Valpo was able to take the first flight, making the second flight the tie-breaker for the doubles point. In a very close set,
Delaney Schurhamer and
Sara Linn were able to pull off a 7-5 victory to give Butler the first point of the match.

Natalie Boesing was able to give Butler a 2-0 lead in the match, after winning the first flight in straight sets and moving her to 5-3 this season in singles. Valpo was able to tie it with victories in the second and fifth flights. Then, Schurhamer was able to give the Bulldogs back the lead by winning in straight sets in the third flight, she is now also 5-3 this season.

Sara Linn was able to clinch the match by winning the fourth flight in straight sets.
Hallie Leblebijian took the sixth flight after Valpo retired in the third set, giving Butler a 5-2 victory.

Butler was scheduled to travel to Chicago tomorrow for a match against DePaul, but that has been postponed to a later date. The Bulldogs next match will be on Friday, April 2 as they host Eastern Michigan.
