Butler women's lacrosse will take a break from conference play to host Denison on Wednesday, April 14, at 4 p.m. at Varsity Field. The game will be live streamed on the Butler Athletics YouTube channel.

Butler fell in both games of a weekend series at Villanova moving them to 0-7 on the season and 0-6 in BIG EAST play.
Greer Bireley recorded a hat trick on Friday and
KK Callaghan scored two goals in the match, as well.
Lindsey Schreiber added two goals in their game on Sunday as the Bulldogs comeback fell short.

Greer Bireley are leading the offense for Butler. Connors is third on the team in points and second on the team in goals, and has scored at least one goal in four different games this season. Bireley has a team-high four assists on the year.

Scouting Denison
Denison enters Wednesdays matchup with a record of 6-0 and they are 4-0 in conference play. Denison's two leading goal scorers Liza Farnham and Casey McTague each have 20 goals on the season, so far. Farnham has seven assists, as well, leading the team in points with 27. Jane Bailey leads the team in assists with 12 and also has added five goals. Maeve Caldwell has logged 270 minutes between the pipes and has a 5.11 GAA average.

This is the first time the two teams will meet in program history. This is the last non-conference game of the season for the Bulldogs.
