The Bulldogs head to Georgetown for a BIG EAST weekend series. The first game is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Friday, April 16, and then the second game is on Sunday, April 18 at 12 p.m. Georgetown will be streaming both games.

Bulldog Bits
- Butler picked up their first win of the season on Wednesday, beating Denison 12-9.
- Nine different Bulldogs found the back of the net in the victory.
- Campbell Connors, Leah Rubino, and Karina Latsko each had two goals against Denison.
- Latsko also had both of the Butler assists.
- All three Butler goalies saw time in the net, Katie McGrath made seven saves and got the win.
- Connors leads the team in goals with nine, she also has one assist.
- KK Callaghan is tied with Connors for team-high in points with 10 off of eight goals and two assists.
- Greer Bireley leads the team with four assists.
- 16 Bulldogs have scored at least one goal this season, and 12 have at least one assist.
- Butler is returning nine starters from last season, including 2020 leading scorer Gabryelle Bodine, who scored one goal this past weekend
- The Bulldogs return three players who earned BIG EAST Weekly Awards last season in goalie Amanda Rumsey and attackers Kaley Attaway and Connors.
- Three current Bulldogs, Ashley Guerra, Amanda Rumsey, and Katie McGrath, hold at least one individual career record in Butler's program history.

Last Time Out
Butler secured their first win of the season against Denison on Wednesday, moving them to 1-7 on the season. The Bulldogs are still looking for their first win in BIG EAST play this weekend. Nine Bulldogs scored in the victory with
Campbell Connors,
Leah Rubino, and
Karina Latsko scoring two each, and
Ashley Guerra getting her first goal of the season. Latsko had both Butler assists and
Katie McGrath lead the goaltending trio making seven saves and getting the win.

Sophomore Strength
Despite shortened freshman campaigns, sophomores
Campbell Connors and
Greer Bireley are leading the Butler offense. Connors leads the team in goals and is tied for the lead in points while Bireley leads the team in assists.

Scouting Georgetown
Georgetown enters the weekend at 4-7 overall and 3-3 in BIG EAST play. Last weekend, they split a two-game series against Marquette. Kylie Hazen and Michaela Bruno are leading the Hoya's offense with 22 goals each. Hazen also leads Georgetown with 10 assists and 32 points.

Butler vs. Georgetown
Georgetown has held the edge over Butler in their three previous matchups, winning all three. The last time these two faced off was in March 2019 where #22 Georgetown won 21-3.

Butler will host Marquette next weekend for two games to close out the regular season. The first game is on Friday, April 23 and the second on Sunday, April 25.
