Schedule with Game Times and Television Included
Butler has solidified tip times and television assignments for a majority of its games following a conference-wide announcement by the BIG EAST today.
Â
All of Butler's men's basketball games will be nationally televised this season with a majority airing on FS1. Two of the Bulldogs' contests – vs. Purdue in the Crossroads Classic Dec. 18 and at Marquette Feb. 26 – will air on FOX.
Â
FS1 will broadcast at least 18 of the Bulldogs' games, while CBS Sports Network and FS2 will each television three Butler contests. The 2021 Maui Invitational will air on the ESPN family of networks as previously announced.
Â
The one game still without a game time and television assignment is Butler's Dec. 7 contest at Oklahoma as part of the BIG EAST-Big 12 Battle.
Â
For the first time, FOX Sports will provide whip-around BIG EAST coverage on Nov. 9, the opening night of the college basketball season. The
BIG EAST Opening Night Tip-Off will include live look-ins on FS1 of seven non-conference contests. Full game coverage will be available on the Fox Sports App. The Bulldogs host IUPUI that night, which is part of the whip-around coverage.
Â
The regular season concludes on Saturday, March 5, with a FOX Wildcard day. FOX or FS1 will carry all five games, though telecast decisions will not be made until late in the season. Butler hosts Villanova at Hinkle Fieldhouse on this day.
