INDIANAPOLIS – Butler football head coach
Mike Uremovich added a talented quarterback to the program this week in Ball State transfer Eddie Schott. A 6-4 local product from Southport High School, Schott will have three years of eligibility remaining as a Bulldog.
Schott was a standout quarterback at Southport High School playing for head coach Brandon Winters. He was a First Team All-State selection as a senior after throwing for 3,238 yards and 39 touchdowns. A 3-star recruit (247Sports), Schott finished his career with more than 7,400 passing yards.
The son of Kirby and Molly Schott, Eddie has a brother and two sisters. His grandfather, Dick Schott played college football at Louisville and went on to play in the NFL for the Minnesota Vikings.
