Key Moments
  • 22' | Off a pass from Alexei Whittaker, Talia Sommer carries forward, eludes two defenders, and finds Arianna Jalics in the center. Jalics makes a move to the left and her left-footed shot sneaks inside the far post. Butler takes a 1-0 lead.
  • 27' | In the center of the field, St. John's midfielder Melina Couzis plays directly forward to Jessica Garziano at the top of the box. Garziana turns and chips to the upper right corner of the goal and equalizes the match, 1-1.
  • 40' | From in front of her own goal, the Red Storm's Couzis plays out to the left and finds Molly Feighan. Feighan sprints down the sideline and sends a ball into the middle to Ava Collins. Collins makes a move to the right to elude her defender and is able to slide the ball under the keeper. St. John's goes up one goal, 2-1.
