BOYDS, Md. - The Butler men's soccer team came from behind to force overtime in a BIG EAST Tournament semifinal match against Georgetown but ultimately lost by the score of 2-1. The No. 1 seed Hoyas (11-4-3) scored first and led, 1-0, at the half, but the No. 4 seed Bulldogs (10-6-3) struck back and leveled the score with 13 minutes left in regulation. Georgetown scored five minutes into the first overtime period, and Butler was unable to answer by the end of the second.

With the loss, Butler will now await word on the possibility of an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament which will be comprised of forty-eight teams. Currently, the Bulldogs have an RPI ranking of 37. The selection show is Monday, Nov. 14.
