The Bulldogs closed the fall portion of the 2022-23 season over the weekend in East Lansing, Mich., taking part in the Michigan State Green and White Dual.

Butler was joined in the field by the host Spartans, as well as Marquette and Ball State. The event featured a round robin team format with all teams competing against one another in singles and doubles.

Natalie Boesing led the way for the Bulldogs with a 2-1 singles mark, while combining with Chase Metcalf to also post a 2-1 record in doubles play.

Katie Beavin went 2-1 in singles, while the doubles teams of Delaney Schurhamer and Veronika Bruetting, as well as Jordan Schildcrout and Norah Balthazor also posted two wins against only one loss in weekend play.

Coach Mat Iandolo on the weekend: "I was very pleased with our doubles play overall on the weekend and we had some singles wins in key positions against real good competition that we can build on."
