• Butler is 6-1 over its last seven road games at Georgetown.
• All but one of the 20 match-ups between the two programs have come since Butler joined the BIG EAST for the 2013-14 season.
• The teams first met in the 2009 Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden; the teams also played in the 2014 Battle 4 Atlantis as the field was already solidified prior to Butler joining the BIG EAST.
• Butler swept the 2021-22 season series.
• Each team owns a 6-3 record as the visiting team in the series.

OF NOTE
• Simas Lukosius led the Bulldogs with 13 points off the bench in the team's most recent game against Georgetown, a 56-53 win Jan. 29, 2022 at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
• Manny Bates has 35 blocks already this season, moving him just two away from tenth on Butler's single-season list.
• Bates went 6-for-7 from the field in Thursday's loss to Providence; he has shot 50 percent or better in 12 of the team's 14 games this season.
• Bates is 18th nationally with a 63.8 field goal percentage.
• Butler made its first change of the season in its starting line-up Thursday against Providence, inserting Jalen Thomas into the first five.
• In his third game since returning from a pulmonary embolism, Thomas tied for the team lead with a season-best 12 points; he also paced the Bulldogs with a season-high six rebounds.
• Ali Ali, in just his third game as well this season after returning from concussion symptoms and nasal surgery, scored a season-high nine points.
• Butler's five that started the team's first 13 games are each averaging double figures in scoring and more than 30 minutes played per game.
• Bates, Jayden Taylor and Chuck Harris have each led the Bulldogs in scoring in at least four games so far this season (includes ties).
• Butler has placed all five starters in double figures three times this season, with the most recent coming at Cal Dec. 10.
• Butler's average of 8.6 bench points per game ranks last (of 352 teams) nationally. With the return of Thomas and Ali to the rotation, Butler's bench has actually outscored the opponent's bench in the last two games (two of four times this season that has been done).
• Butler is 8-0 this season when leading at halftime.
• Butler is 8-0 this season when scoring 70 or more points.

In a similar fashion, Butler already has six games this season shooting 40 percent or better from three-point range, which was only done four times during the 2021-22 season.
• Among active coaches with at least 10 seasons of NCAA Division I experience, Thad Matta's .736 winning percentage ranks fourth (Few, Self, Calipari).
• Bates led the Bulldogs with 22 points and 10 rebounds against Kansas State Nov. 30, his third double-double of the season.
• Eric Hunter Jr. posted the first double-double of his collegiate career in the Dec. 10 win at Cal; he scored 13 points to go along with a career-high 11 rebounds.
• Including his seasons at Purdue, Hunter has 984 career points.
• Harris is now tied with Gordon Hayward for 22nd in Butler history in career three-pointers (116).
• Harris posted career-highs of 32 points and six three-pointers in the Dec. 3 win over Tennessee Tech.
• Lukosius handed out a career-high seven assists against Kansas State Nov. 30, which also matched the most by a Butler player this season.
