The Butler softball team will host its first home games of the season this weekend when Seton Hall comes to town for a three-game BIG EAST series. The revised schedule includes a doubleheader on Friday, at 12 pm and 2:30 pm, and a single game on Sunday at 12 pm.
The Bulldogs are currently 16-8 overall and 4-1 in the BIG EAST. Most recently, Butler went 2-1 in a series with DePaul.

	- Karli Ricketts leads the BIG EAST (47th nationally) in hits allowed/7 innings (4.43) and is second in ERA (1.96) and strikeout-to-walk ratio (4.06). She comes in at number three in the conference in walks allowed/7 innings (1.65) and is number four in strikeouts (65).
- Lauren Fey ranks first in the BIG EAST (38th nationally) as toughest to strikeout, averaging 24.3 at bats per strikeout. She also leads the conference in on base percentage (.476) and is second in batting average (.397).
- Bri Avery leads the BIG EAST (81st nationally) in batting average (.417) and comes in at number four with 0.38 stolen bases per game.
- Monique Hoosen leads the BIG EAST in home runs (6) and is fifth in slugging percentage (0.685).
- Ellie Boyer leads the BIG EAST and is 46th nationally with 0.21 sacrifice bunts per game.
- Ella White's two triples put her second in the BIG EAST with 0.08/game, and her seven doubles put her in fifth with 0.29/game.
- Alyssa Graves ranks third in the BIG EAST (90th nationally) with 8.5 strikeouts per seven innings and is fifth with 64 strikeouts.
 
- Karli Ricketts has moved into the tenth position Butler's all-time list for career wins with 27. She is currently tied with Jamie Wonderly (2004-2007).
- Through 24 games, Butler is outperforming its opponents in several categories that include: runs (105-82), hits (190-139), RBIs (93-62), and stolen bases (26-14).
- With 41 stolen bases in her career, Lauren Fey needs only one more to move into a tie for sixth on Butler's all-time list (Jen Heminger, 1994-1997).
- Coach Scott Hall is in his 12th season at the helm of Bulldogs Softball. He currently sits at 262-285-1 as head of the program, and, with 2 additional victories, would become the all-time winningest coach at Butler. Barb Greenburg, who coached from 1981 through 1994, was the program's first coach and attained a career record of 263-226-4.
