@ButlerUFootball Spring Practice Week 3

| By:
INDIANAPOLIS – The Bulldogs have wrapped up their third week of spring practices and are a little over a week away from the spring game.

Practice has been going smoothly on both sides of the ball. The 'Dawgs have been pushing to put their best stuff on tape.

"The energy has been fantastic all around and that's especially promising given that we are putting a wrap on practice number ten, Tight Ends Coach Matt Alderfer said. "These guys love ball and love competing even more. The commitment to each other and this process throughout the entire spring has been really cool to see, everyone's focusing on making themselves and the guys around them the best ballplayers possible."

The cornerbacks are making progress all around and are getting more comfortable with the techniques. They are also getting better at the different coverages.

"As a group, we have really been stressing the importance of eliminating big plays and getting the ball out at the catch point, Cornerback Coach Joe Cheshire said. "I feel like we are doing a good job at both and like the way the corners competed and have competed all spring. Our primary focus closing out the spring will be on finishing plays whether it is in the run game with our block destruction or in the pass game getting the ball out at the catch point. We have a competitive group that collectively pushes and forces each other to be on the top of their game."
