INDIANAPOLIS- The Bulldogs wrapped up the second full week of spring practice and had their first spring scrimmage on Sunday.
BU had a successful scrimmage that started strong for the offense with a touchdown drive and the defense responding with several stops.
"I'm looking forward to watching the film with the guys and correcting the mistakes that were made," said Head Coach
Mike Uremovich. "This will be a big week for our players and staff in terms of corrections and moving forward with some of our situational install."
The quarterbacks are continuing to improve all around as well. "Our quarterbacks are competing and progressing really well," said Quarterbacks Coach
Caden Murphy. "They're continuing to learn the offense and are working really hard to improve each day."
On the defensive side of the ball, the safeties are stepping up and leading from the front.
"I am excited for the progress we have made as a defense," said Safeties Coach
Jacob White. "We are running to the ball well and are doing a good job being coachable. We have a lot to get better at but will continue to take coaching and have fun. The safeties have done a good job communicating and leading. We still have a lot to focus on, but I am proud of their buy in."
