Butler graduate student Alyssa Graves continues to pile up honors following a successful 2022 campaign.

The left-handed pitcher was named All-Mideast Region third team by the NFCA, as the coaches association announced the recognition Thursday, May 19.

The awards honor softball student-athletes from the Association's 10 regions with first, second and third-team selections. NFCA member head coaches from each respective region nominated student-athletes and voted for the teams.

Graves was named the 2022 BIG EAST Pitcher of the Year, while also earning All-BIG EAST first team honors.

In 29 appearances, Graves posted a record of 14-4 with a 1.95 ERA. She had 141 strikeouts in 118.1 innings of work.

Twice during the season she was named BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week and also earned a spot on the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team.
