INDIANAPOLIS – Butler's first recruiting class under the direction of head coach Mike Uremovich is loaded with talented student-athletes heading to campus from 14 different states. This group includes nine defensive linemen, nine offensive linemen, seven defensive backs, five linebackers, four wide receivers, four running backs, four quarterbacks, three tight ends and one kicker.
 
"Our staff is excited to welcome all of our new student-athletes to the Butler family," Uremovich stated. "They are a very talented group and we are excited to get to watch them develop in the classroom and on the field. August can't some soon enough."
 
The 2022 recruiting class will report to training camp with their teammates in early August. The 2022 season opener is set for Saturday, Sept. 3 when the Bulldogs host St. Thomas (Fla.) at 1 PM inside the Bud and Jackie Sellick Bowl. Tickets are on sale now for all six home contests, including the homecoming game against Marist on Oct. 22.
