ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The Butler women's soccer team won its second-straight match of the 2022 season, and its first over a top-10 team since 2017, upending No. 9 Michigan on the Wolverines' home turf. Both sides created multiple opportunities, but neither was able to reach the back of the net until the 64^th minute when Katie Soderstrom scored an unassisted goal. Butler's defense then took over, handing Michigan (1-1) its first loss the young season.
