The Butler men's soccer team will travel to UConn for a BIG EAST matchup on Saturday, Sept. 24, at 7PM. The Bulldogs are coming off a 9-0 win over Lindenwood, while the Huskies most recently tied BIG EAST foe, Creighton, 1-1.

Bulldog Bits
            (through games 9/21/2022)

• Palmer Ault leads the BIG EAST and is one of only seven players nationally with three game-winning goals. He is fourth in the conference and 39th nationally with 10 total points.
• Wilmer Cabrera Jr. ranks 2nd in the BIG EAST and 25th nationally with 3.43 shots per game.
• Gabriel Gjergji's ranks in the top five in the BIG EAST in saves (4th/23), save percentage (4th/.793), shutouts (5th/2) and goals-against average (5th/.933).

        Against Lindenwood:

• Palmer Ault's six points were a career high and represent the most points scored by an individual in a single match for Butler since Wilmer Cabrera, Jr. tallied seven on March 3, 2021, against DePaul.
• Nick Okoro (2 goals), Kyle Hagerman (2 goals) and Nick Graziano (goal, assist) each produced their first points at Butler.
• With a shared shutout against Lindenwood, Gabriel Gjergji now has 18.5 for his career and has moved into third on Butler's all-time list. He surpasses the Bulldogs' goalkeeper coach, Assistant Coach Fabian Knopfler, who played for Butler from 2007-10.
• Butler's nine goals against Lindenwood represents the second highest offensive output in program history. The 1990 Bulldogs scored 10 in a shutout of Purdue Ft. Wayne and then eight against Miami (OH), while the 1991 side also tallied eight against Valparaiso.
