The Butler women's soccer team returns to Indianapolis this week to host a pair of matches, starting this Sunday when UConn visits the Sellick Bowl. The Bulldogs (5-6-4, 1-2-3 BIG EAST) most recently lost at St. John's, 3-1, while the Huskies (6-3-4, 3-1-2 BIG EAST) are coming off a 5-0 shutout at DePaul.

  • With seven goals, Norah Jacomen ranks third in the BIG EAST and 70th nationally. Her 15 offensive points also rank third in the conference, and her shot accuracy (.552) ranks fourth.
  • Alexei Whittaker's four goals rank ninth in the BIG EAST.
  • Talia Sommer's five assists rank second in the BIG EAST and 78th nationally. Additional conference rankings include: two game-winning goals (3rd), 13 total points (6th), and four goals (9th).

  • Lucia Englund's goal was her career-first. The match also represented her first career start.
  • Abigail Isger led Butler's offensive attack with three shots, one on goal. Emily O'Malley and Amelie Darey each had a pair of shots with one on goal.
