BU offensive lineman Bryan Bystol joined an elite group of PFL student-athletes to earn First Team Academic All-PFL recognition four times during his career. Morehead State offensive lineman Jaxen Spears and Dayton offensive lineman David Tkatch joined Valparaiso linebacker Evan Annis as PFL student-athletes to earn a third First Team Academic All-PFL honor this season.

The highest academic honor went to Valparaiso's Evan Annis. The redshirt-junior linebacker was recognized as the league's Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Annis is pursuing a bachelor's degree in bioengineering and entered this season with a 3.94 cumulative grade-point average.
