Butler closed out the non-conference portion of its schedule with a 96-70 win over Saginaw Valley State Friday night at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

HOW IT TRANSPIRED:
- The Bulldogs jumped out to a 17-2 lead (at the 15:03 mark of the first half) and never looked back.
- Butler led 47-29 at halftime and the lead would grow to as many as 31 in the second half.

- Butler now has won six games in a row.
- Butler has scored at least 80 points in eight of its 11 games to start the season; the Bulldogs only hit the 80-point mark six times total a season ago.
- The Bulldogs hit a season-high 15 three-pointers, going 15-for-32 from behind the arc. Eight different Bulldogs hit at least one.
- Butler had a 50-12 advantage in bench points.

- Bizjack's career night included a 3-for-6 performance from three-point range and six free throws. He added four assists.

- Bizjack becomes the tenth different Bulldog to hit double figures in a game this season. Tonight was the sixth game this season with five or more Bulldogs scoring in double figures. Â
