Saturday's match in Chicago saw the Bulldog's lose 4-3 to UIC. Butler moves to 2-5 on the season.
 
Butler edged out the doubles point. Teammates Norah Balthazor and Jordan Schildcrout won handily at the No. 3 spot, 6-4. Natalie Boesing and Chase Metcalf won their second in a row at the No. 1 to seal the point. 
 
In single's play, UIC won four of the six matches to take the win. Balthazor continued to impress with a 6-0 set win and closed out the second set 7-5 to take down her opponent at the No. 4. Emma Beavin earned Butler's third point with a straight set win in the No. 6 position. 
 
Butler begins BIG EAST play tomorrow when they take on DePaul.
