INDIANAPOLIS – The Butler football program returned to the gridiron this week to open up their spring practice schedule. Today's feature will take a closer look at the offensive and defensive line units.
"We are only two practices in, but so far I'm really happy with the way our offensive line is continuing to build off last year and further understand the offense," Run Game Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach
Alex Barr stated. "We have a lot of competition right now, and it's really exciting to see the guys compete."

Kirk Doskocil all compete for BU in this position group. The Bulldogs averaged 161 rushing yards per game last year with ball carriers picking up 4.2 yards per rush. BU led the FCS in sacks allowed and red zone offense. They ranked second in tackles for loss allowed.

Adam Siwicki explained! Coach Greenstone has greatly improved this unit's strength and agility, which is showing up on the field. This group deserves a lot of credit for all the hard work they have put in this off-season from a technical standpoint as well! They have done a great job of taking and applying coaching which allows me to keep advancing them in our schematics and techniques. We will continue to challenge them to improve daily!"
The Bulldogs came up with 15 sacks in 2022 and made 51 tackles for loss.
Jacob Cain led BU with 3.5 sacks while adding 4.5 tackles for loss.
Jack Belskis led the team with 6.5 tackles for loss and
Austin Korba helped wreck plays in the backfield to record 4.5 tackles for loss.
