The Butler women's tennis team were defeated by Miami of Ohio on Friday. The 6-1 defeat moves the Bulldogs to 6-10 on the season.
The RedHawks captured the doubles point, winning at the No. 1 and No. 3. Butler's
Veronika Bruetting and
Delaney Schurhamer were leading in their match before going unfinished.
Natalie Boesing earned Butler's lone point. Boesing defeated Laura Rico on the No. 1 court in straight sets. Schurhamer and Metcalf came close in their respective matches, taking their opponents to a third set.
