The Butler softball team hosts Georgetown for a weekend BIG EAST series from Friday, Apr. 28 through Sunday, Apr. 30. The Bulldogs (15-29, 9-6 BIG EAST) currently sit in the fourth position in the conference standings with six games to play. The Hoyas (15-28, 8-10 BIG EAST) are right behind in the fifth spot. Six teams will qualify for the BIG EAST Tournament which will take place in Storrs, Conn. from May 10-13.

- Saturday's game will include Senior Day recognition prior to the first pitch.

- Kieli Ryan has thrown out 12 runners attempting to steal. She sits atop the BIG EAST and is 21st nationally in that category. She is the only player in the conference who has picked off two baserunners.
- Monique Hoosen is second in the BIG EAST (42nd nationally) with 12 home runs. Her slugging percentage (.622) ranks eighth in the conference.
- Paige Dorsett ranks fifth in the BIG EAST with a .653 slugging percentage. Her 10 doubles also put her in the fifth spot for doubles-per-game, and she is sixth in on base percentage (.460).
- Cate Lehner ranks third in the BIG EAST as toughest to stike out. (1 per 15.1 at bats).
