Four student-athletes on the Butler women's tennis team –
Norah Balthazor,
Emma Beavin,
Katie Beavin, and
Delaney Schurhamer – have been recognized by College Sports Communicators as Academic All-District®.

The 2022-23 Academic All-District® Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early June.

Balthazor, a sophomore from DePere, Wis., went 12-3 in the No. 4 position during the spring season. She is a Biology and Spanish double major.

Emma Beavin, from Louisville, Ky., primarily played in the No. 6 position for Butler, where she was 9-9 this season. The sophomore is majoring in Psychology.

Katie Beavin, also a sophomore from Louisville, went 12-10 in the No. 5 position this spring. She is a Finance major.

Schurhamer, a junior from Woodbury, Minn., was 9-9 in the No. 2 position and also picked up two wins at No. 3. She is majoring in both Finance and Marketing.
