Laiya Ebo will join the Butler Volleyball roster for the upcoming 2023 fall season.
 
New Butler coach Kyle Shondell is excited for her to suit up for the Bulldogs.
 
"Laiya is strong and physical athlete who will fit really well into the systems we are building, and her character is an even better match for Bulldog Volleyball," said Shondell.
 
Ebo is a 6-1 outside hitter from Washington D.C. She was a four year starter in the nation's capital at Holton-Arms School. Ebo was named captain and earned All-ISL in 2023 to conclude her high school career. 

During her club career at Metro Volleyball Club, Ebo was nominated for 2021 Under Armor All-American honors and held spots on the 2020 and 2021 Ultra Ankle JVA Watch Lists.
