CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Butler women's soccer team fell behind early but came back to earn a 1-1 draw with (rv) Xavier in the BIG EAST opener for both teams. The Musketeers (7-2-1, 0-0-1 BIG EAST) had an 11-2 advantage in shots in the first half and scored in the 17^th minute. The Bulldogs (4-4-2, 0-0-1 BIG EAST) found their rhythm after the break, outshooting Xavier, 7-3, in the second half and leveling the score in the 52^nd minute. The physical match featured 36 fouls and four yellow cards.
