INDIANAPOLIS – The Butler women's soccer team held a one-goal lead until one second before the halftime break, when Providence knocked in an equalizer. In the second half, the Bulldogs (5-4-3, 1-0-2 BIG EAST) outshot the Friars (6-2-1, 1-0-1 BIG EAST) in the run of play, 7-5, but neither side was able find the back of the net to take a lead.
