INDIANAPOLIS – The Butler men's soccer team was unable to find the back of the net in a BIG EAST battle with UConn, dropping the match by the final score of 1-0. The teams were level at the break, but the Huskies (8-2-4, 3-1-1 BIG EAST) struck first in the 58
th minute. The Bulldogs (3-8-3, 0-5-0 BIG EAST) produced two second-half shots on frame but could not find an equalizer.

- 58' | UConn's Eli Conway strikes a hard cross into the area from the left side. Scott Testori, who is tightly marked, skips the ball off his head from seven yards out. The ball goes just inside the far post, and the Huskies take a 1-0 lead.
- 65' | Joost de Schutter sends a ball from midfield toward the right corner. Henri Kumwenda is there and sends a hard cross to the front of the goal. Sam Pitts-Eckersall heads it on frame from eight yards out, but UConn's keeper is able to make the save.
