The Bulldogs closed out the 2024 campaign in style, sweeping Seton Hall in New Jersey by a score of 27-25, 25-22, 25-22.

Elise Ward (12 kills, 11 digs) and
Alaleh Tolliver (12 kills, 16 digs) registered double-doubles to lead the Bulldogs.

Butler finishes the 2024 season with a record of 7-23 (5-13 BIG EAST), while Seton Hall falls to 12-17 (6-12).

The Bulldogs had both eight service aces and eight blocks, compared to just four each in those categories for Seton Hall. No Pirate made it to double-digit kills in the contest.

SET 1: Butler 27, Seton Hall 25
In the opening set, Seton Hall got out to an early 8-4 lead before Butler clawed back into the frame. Beginning at the point in the set where the Pirates led 9-7, the margin was never more than two points the rest of the way. A
Jaeda Lockhart kill and a Seton Hall attack error gave Butler the final two points and a 27-25 victory.
Laiya Ebo and Tolliver each had four kills for the Bulldogs.

SET 2: Butler 25, Seton Hall 22
Butler closed the set by winning nine of the final 13 points to overcome an 18-16 deficit and take a 25-22 decision. Tolliver and Ward led the way with five kills each.

SET 3: Butler 25, Seton Hall 22
The third set was almost a carbon copy of the second as Seton Hall led 19-18 before the Bulldogs took five straight points to gain control of the set, eventually posting a 25-22 victory. Ward once again led the way with four kills.
