Joe Cheshire has been selected as the Interim Head Coach of the Butler Football program. 

Cheshire fills the interim role created when Mike Uremovich accepted the Ball State football head coaching position on Wednesday (Dec. 4).
 
Cheshire has served as the program's special teams coordinator and safeties coach for the last three seasons. He has been a member of the Butler football staff since 2004. 

Butler is in the midst of a search to fill the head coaching position.
