The Butler women's tennis team clinched a 4-2 victory over UIndy Wednesday at the Butler Bubble. 
 
In doubles play, Natalie Boesing and Chase Metcalf secured the No. 1 doubles spot in a 6-2 victory over Tyffaine Pais and Diane Flament. In addition to Boesing and Metcalf's win, doubles pair Norah Balthazor and Lauren Cook defeated Maria Fiacan and Ana Hollweg on the third court, 6-2. 
 
Boesing claimed the No. 1 singles spot with her 7-5, 6-2 win over Flament. Delaney Schurhamer cruised by opponent Maissane Aik in a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 2 singles. Junior Emma Beavin clinched the victory for the Bulldogs with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Fiacan at the No. 6 singles spot. 
 
The Bulldogs, now 6-3 on the spring season, will be back in action at the Butler Bubble on Friday, Feb. 16, where they will take on Eastern Michigan. That will be the first of three weekend matches.
