• Seton Hall scored the final eight points of the game to take a 78-72 win over Butler Jan. 13 at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
• Kadary Richmond's 24-point, 12-rebound performance led Seton Hall.

Posh Alexander led Butler with 17 points and four assists.
• Seton Hall had 13 blocks, the most by a Butler opponent since joining the BIG EAST.
• The teams combined for only 18 turnovers.
• Seton Hall shot 51 percent for the game, including 54 percent in the second half. Butler shot 41 percent.

• Butler is coming off a 72-62 loss at Villanova Tuesday night. The Bulldogs are now 3-5 on the road in BIG EAST play with contests at Seton Hall and DePaul remaining.
• The Bulldogs made 11 three-pointers at Villanova, which was the first time losing this season when hitting 10 or more three-pointers (now 5-1).
• The Villanova contest Tuesday was the first time this season that more than half of Butler's attempts from the field came from three-point range (29 of 51).
• Butler went 7-for-10 from the free throw line at Villanova. On the season, Butler ranks seventh nationally in free throw shooting at 78.9 percent. Butler has shot 70 percent or better from the line in all but one game.

DJ Davis made both of his free throw attempts Tuesday, raising his season mark to 96.6 percent, which is No. 1 nationally.
• Butler committed just seven turnovers at Villanova, bettering the team's season average of 10.5. Butler has 14 games this season with 10 or fewer turnovers, and the Bulldogs are 11-5 this season when committing fewer turnovers than their opponent.
• Butler had 14 assists against only those seven turnovers Tuesday night; it marked the sixth time this season that Butler's assist/turnover ratio has been 2.0 or higher.

Jahmyl Telfort led Butler with 19 points and seven rebounds at Villanova; it was Telfort's sixth game this season scoring at least 19 points.

Posh Alexander hit four three-pointers (all in the first half) against Villanova, matching his career-high.
• Villanova posted a 37-20 rebounding advantage Tuesday night, which was the Bulldogs' largest deficit on the boards this season. Butler is 13-1 on the season when out-rebounding its opponent.
• The Butler offense has averaged 78.6 points per game this season. Butler has 12 games this season scoring 80 points or more (including seven games of 90 or more).
