The Butler women's tennis program fell 5-2 to BIG EAST member DePaul on Sunday afternoon at Butler's outdoor tennis courts. After a hard-fought match, the Bulldogs now obtain an 8-6 record overall and 1-2 in the BIG EAST for the spring season. While the Blue Demons now sit at 8-5 overall and 1-0 in BIG EAST play for the spring season.
Senior
Delaney Schurhamer rounded out a weekend of BIG EAST play with her second straight singles win. Schurhamer defeated Yuliya Kizelbasheva 6-4, 6-3 in the No. 2 singles spot. Sophomore
Chase Metcalf clinched a close tiebreaking win over Sasha Stula, 6-1, 10-8 at No. 3 singles.
The Bulldogs will travel to Dayton, Ohio to take on Dayton on Saturday, March 2
