The Butler women's tennis team fell 4-2 to BIG EAST member Villanova today in Orlando, Fla. Due to weather conditions, the teams opted to start with singles matches and compete in doubles matches if needed.
The Bulldogs now sit a 10-7 for the spring season, while the Wildcats improve to 5-8.

Delaney Schurhamer defeated Maggie Gehrig in a 6-1, 5-2 (retire) at No. 2 singles. Sophomore
Chase Metcalf beat Miriam Gondorova, 5-7, 6-3, 6-4 in the No. 3 singles spot.
The Bulldogs will stay in Orlando, Fla. to take on Navy tomorrow afternoon.
