The Butler women's tennis team defeated Dayton 4-2 on Saturday evening. The Bulldogs are now 9-6 overall for the spring season, while the Flyers now sits at 6-5. 
 
Senior, Natalie Boesing beat Marra Bruce in 6-1, 6-1 contest at No. 1 singles. Fellow senior Delaney Schurhamer took her match over Natalie Osiecki in a 6-4, 7-6 (3) win. Norah Balthazor clinched a 6-2, 6-4 win over Elizabeth Hamilton in the No. 4 singles spot. 
 
In doubles play, Jordan Schildcrout and Schurhamer defeated Hamilton and Bruce in 7-6 fight in the No. 2 doubles spot. In addition, Boesing and Chase Metcalf clinched a 6-2 victory over Osiecki and Neena Katauskas.
 
The Bulldogs will be back home to take on Ball State at the Butler Bubble tomorrow afternoon.
